Aluminium Ground Sockets
Aluminium ground sockets are extruded from a structural grade high strength alloy. This alloy has excellent resistance to corrosion and over the years has proved to work well with both aluminium and galvanised steel poles.

Standard lengths as follows:

• SLV060 – 50mm NB 300, 400, 450 & 600mm lengths.
• SLV076 – 65mm NB 600mm lengths.
• SLVWEDGE - Standard Wedge
• SLVSECWEDGE - Security wedge.
• SLVRMTOOL- Security removal tool.

Sockets are designed to be fitted with either a standard wedge, or a security wedge requiring a removal tool, both standard and security wedges allow sockets to be installed flush at ground level.

SLV060300 sockets are also supplied with an alternative fixing option using an M10 set screw located 15mm below the socket top. This fixing method is used when securing PVC poles or when using M10 Trilobular security set screws. In this instance it’s recommended sockets are placed 30mm above ground level.
